Due to Lauren having her head dunked in a sink full of water, she was afraid to go into any restroom. It took several months to help her overcome her fright.
Lauren’s implants were removed at the age of 2 ½. My little girl would not start speaking until six months later. Lauren was physically abused at a childcare center, due to her inability to speak.
Lauren had surgical implants placed in her ears to remove the fluid. Afterwards, Lauren’s hearing was impaired. She could hear the same as someone underwater, until the implants were removed. I still read to her; despite her hearing impairment.
Lauren spoke in phrases at the age of eight months. Since her crying was excessive, she went to see an ear specialist, who claimed there was nothing wrong with Lauren. Soon after, she was rushed to a nearby hospital having a fever of 105 degrees.
Lauren sees her father for the first time. For a time, Lauren stopped crying. Soon after, her excessive crying continued.
Lauren cried excessively at birth. She was nicknamed, "rocking chair baby," because she had to be rocked in order to stop crying. It was believed that Lauren had severe colic.....WRONG! SO WRONG!!!
