Ginkgo Biloba has been around for a very long time and can protect against aging-related issues such as dementia by improving blood flow to the brain, among other benefits. It helps to preserve memory, as well as promoting recovery from a stroke.
I wish I had known about this herb years ago when a co-worker I knew had a stroke. She was determined to come back into the field, since she loved teaching so much. It was her life! It didn't happen! I don't know if this herb would have helped or not, since I'm not a medical professional.
